Dear Parents,Thank you for visiting my website. My Name is Hunter King, and judging by the fact that you are reading this, I'd assume that your child is in, or will soon be in one of my classes. Welcome! I take pride in my classes and I enjoy parent/guardian involvement as much as possible. My classroom is open whenever as long as school rules are followed.

My classes are very involved, I don't give busy work to students fr the sake of having them work. I want all of my students to have a genuine interest in what we are doing in class and I will do everything in my power to make sure that I am accommodating to each individualized student and their learning techniques.

This is where you come in! I will be having a brief meeting for each class that I am teaching at the beginning of each semester for parents and families to have an overview of each task we will set to achieve by the end of the semester. Some classes may involve having permission from parents to take the class do the more adult nature of some of the topics that will be discussed in class (i.e. Horror in Literature, etc.)

It is highly encouraged that parents and families engage with the student in conversation over what happens in class. Whether that be asking questions, reading with the student, watching a film that we will watch in class, etc. is up to you as a parent.

I am also very open about anything that parents may have questions about with my courses. I am willing to talk over the phone, on Skype (Link at the top) or in a private meeting which can be scheduled here.

I am very excited to meet all of you and your lovely students and I hope that this class enriches and provides valuable information for all involved. Overall, I hope this class provides a community of students a safe place to be themselves and explore their knowledge.
